Heart of the Gorge Cruises
Portland's skyline unfolds into the natural beauty of Multnomah Falls and the Columbia River Gorge, with historic account of the Lewis & Clark expedition and other fascinating stories of the "Great River of the West."
The cruise departs from downtown Portland, travels down the Willamette to the Columbia River, then East (upstream) on the Columbia through the Locks at Bonneville Dam to the Visitor's Center at Marine Park in the Port of Cascade Locks. A ten-dollar voucher is included for a meal at the Visitor's Center Cafe. After Lunch, the route is reversed for the return trip to Portland.
Fast and comfortable, the Outrageous is the best way to see the Columbia River.

Make a day of it, spending your morning cruising to Astoria at the 17th Street dock, complete with narration of the sights of the lower Columbia, walking through Astoria through the afternoon, departing Astoria in the afternoon to return Portland that evening.
